Do you ever private call the person you are missing, just to hear their voice?

Ahh...I remember the first time I asked for her number. As it was, I was rather shy; and I wanted a way of her not to say no to me directly.

So I folded a little crane. With a little message "may I have your number please?"
I wasn't really expecting a reply to be honset...

The next day she comes up and asks "your phone please..."
And enters it in.

God...I was a happy person back then....
